What TFScrims collects

When you sign in, Discord provides the basic identity allowed by the identify scope: your Discord user ID, username, display name, and avatar. TFScrims does not request your Discord email, servers, messages, or contacts.

You may add a profile name, username, bio, region, pronouns, avatar, and analytics visibility preference. Team operations can store team names, regions, memberships, roles, invitations, LFS posts and responses, lobby details, lineups, round results, loadouts, substitutions, and activity records.

Why the data is used

  • Authenticate you and maintain a secure session.
  • Review team access and enforce team and moderator permissions.
  • Coordinate scrims and preserve the match record.
  • Generate team history and player analytics from recorded scrims.
  • Protect the network, investigate misuse, and support operators.

Who can see it

Operational information is shared with the approved teams and authorized users involved in the relevant workflow. Super admins can review users, teams, requests, and scrims to operate the service.

Player analytics are private by default. You can opt in to a public analytics page from Settings and turn that access off again. The current product has no advertising or data-sale integration.

Storage and sessions

Profile, team, and scrim records are stored in the service database. Avatar files are stored in S3-compatible object storage. Authentication sessions and short-lived OAuth state are stored in Redis. Sign-in cookies are HTTP-only and SameSite=Lax; secure cookies are enabled for an HTTPS production origin.

Operational records are kept while they are needed to run the scrim network and preserve agreed match history. Session records expire automatically or are revoked on sign out, account disablement, or administrative action.

Your controls

You can update your profile, replace or remove your avatar, and change public analytics visibility from Settings. For access, correction, export, or deletion requests that are not available in-product, contact the TFScrims operator or community administrator who granted your team access.

Service providers and changes

Discord processes the OAuth sign-in flow under its own terms. The service operator's database, Redis, and object-storage providers process data only as needed to host TFScrims. This notice may change as the product or its providers change; the updated date will be revised when it does.
